Victoria Fenner

Vicky graduated with a degree in History from Rhodes. She was apprenticed to a jeweler in Cape Town. While she appreciated the skill involved in designing and manufacturing high-end jewellery, her passion was for something more edgy. When Daphne offered her the chance to run a jewellery company she jumped at the chance!

Daphne

Daphne Fenner

Daphne graduated from Rhodes with a degree in Anthropology and History. While doing her honors, and pondering her future, a friend mentioned a local  jewellery business was for sale. Within two weeks she had purchased the business and inherited the talented staff. Daphne's real passion is sales and marketing and making sure JOYA is on the way to becoming an internationally recognised brand.

Izelle

Izelle

Izelle joined Joya over a year ago and has helped take the business to the next level with her exceptional organisation and administrative skills. Izelle handles all outgoing and incoming orders and sales accounts

Sipho

Sipho Mahlangu

Sipho trained with Sandy McCormack for eight years. Sipho's mother was a beader and was offered a job by Sandy. His mother suggested Sandy employ Sipho, whom she had been training. He has a natural talent and quickly picked up the intricacies of the jewellery craft from his peers. After 3 months he was offered a full time position. He and Vicki have a wonderful working relationship and he intuitively interprets her designs.

Fred

Mkhululi "Fred" Mahlangu

Fred, Sipho's brother, was employed as a casual. He quickly learned the craft from his brother and has since been employed full time as a junior craftsman. He too has shown natural talent for jewellery crafting.

Celestine

Celestine

Celestine was employed as a casual gardener until Tim Fenner, Joya's Financial Director, suggested he try his hand at jewellery manufacture. He showed natural talent and is now a fulltime employee.

Melusi

Melusi

Melusi is Sipho's and Fred's cousin ad was called in to help when we were short staffed. He quickly become a permanent member of the team. A quickly and deft worker he learnt all the styles very quickly however he is primarily responsible for the rhino bracelets.

Sandra

Sandra

Sandra was a domestic worker for Daphne, when they moved house they no longer needed her in that role so offered her the chance to join the JOYA production team. Sandra quickly proved she was a very talented and conscientiousness worker who puts quality above all else. Her speciality is the shamballa bracelets.

Comfort

Comfort

Comfort is Sandra's younger brother only recently having moved to Cape Town. Also filing in when short staffed he proved himself to be a very useful addition to the team and now works full time.
